Set in the historic Cathedral town of Dunblane, Riverbank Apartment is a recently renovated, bright, spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment within a converted 1880s Watermill.
With views of the Allan Water river from all rooms and use of a shared, indoor heated swimming pool you can ensure you will have a relaxing stay at Riverbank Apartment.
This ground floor apartment is ideally situated for a stay in the central belt of Scotland. Boasting an en-suite master bedroom with kingsize bed and a further bedroom with double bed, this property is both ideal for couples and families with children over 12 years. The en-suite bathroom has a bath with over-bath shower and the family bathroom has a shower cubicle. Quality bed linen and large, fluffy towels are provided. The spacious lounge has ample seating along with a dining table and chairs for 4 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and a Nespresso coffee machine. All crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are also provided. A Tesco and an M&S Food Hall are a pleasant 15 minute walk along the riverside, so self- catering is a breeze. A washing machine and tumble drier will also make your stay a comfortable one.
Dunblane, Stirling and the surrounding area are steeped in history. The historic Battle of Stirling Bridge in 1297, Battle of Bannockburn in 1314 and Battle of Sherriffmuir in 1715 all helped to shape the history of Scotland – and these sites can easily be visited from our properties. Allow yourself to become absorbed by the atmosphere, whilst visiting the magnificent Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument and The Battle of Bannockburn Experience, and then recharge your batteries in one of the many cafés, restaurants or pubs.
The surrounding countryside is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts – walking, cycling and paragliding are all on offer on the nearby Ochil Hills. Slightly further away are The Trossachs, Callander, Loch Lomond National Park, Glasgow and Edinburgh providing, therefore, the ideal central touring base for your holiday.
Golf being available at every turn: Dunblane New Golf Club is a only a 15 min walk from the apartment and at least another five within 30 minutes drive. Slightly further afield are the world famous Gleneagles and St Andrew’s Old Course.
Riverbank Apartment is perfectly located for you to make the most of your holiday and sample some of the highlights the area has to offer.
Located within an hour’s drive of Glasgow and Edinburgh International airports, Riverbank Apartment has excellent motorway connections to the North and South. There is free private parking adjacent to the property. Dublane train station is a 10 minute walk and there are trains to further afield.
The swimming pool is not supervised. Guests swim at their own risk and children under 16 must be supervised at all times.
Pool towels are provided. Please ensure to leave behind after your stay.
