When do I receive my deposit refund?
We aim to refund your deposit as soon as possible after departure, following a check of the property. Please allow up to 7 days for the funds to be refunded to your account via the method used to pay. We ask all guests to ensure that the card used to pay is still valid on departure, to allow the refund to be carried out promptly.
When do I pay my balance?
Your balance is due 6 weeks before arrival. If you have checked the box authorising us to take the balance payment from the card used to make the initial payment, we will do so 6 weeks before your arrival date. We will send you email confirmation and a booking summary once this payment has been taken. If you have not checked this box, we will email you 6 weeks before with a link for you to make payment.
When do I pay my good housekeeping deposit?
The good housekeeping deposit is due 6 weeks before arrival, along with the balance payment. If your arrival date is within 6 weeks, full payment along with the good housekeeping deposit is payable on booking.
Can I pay cash on arrival?
Unfortunately we do not accept cash on arrival.
How do I find my holiday home?
Precise directions and key collection information will be sent out to you before your arrival date. However, the location of each property is shown on the web page of each individual property.
When should we arrive and depart?
Check in time is 4pm and departure is by 10am. Early arrival and late departure may be possible for an additional cost. Please contact us directly to see to discuss.
Who do I contact if any maintenance is required in my holiday accommodation while on holiday?
The owner of each property will deal with any queries you may have while on holiday; their number will be given out along with directions and key collection information closer to your arrival date.
Is smoking allowed in any of the properties?
No, all of our properties are strictly non smoking however there are gardens at each of the properties for guests who wish to smoke. All we ask is that you are considerate to other guests by placing used cigarettes into the bin.
Are pets allowed in any of the properties?
Since many of our guests are allergic to dog and cat hair, we are unfortunately unable to take pets. Redcarr Lodge may accept dogs, please contact us to discuss. We can, however, give you the number of a local cattery or kennel.
Are towels, linen, pillows and duvets supplied?
Your holiday home will be fully made up for you on arrival. Bedding and all linen is included in the price of your holiday.
Are any of your properties better suited for young children?
Some of our properties are child/baby friendly and we can supply you with children’s items such as cots and highchairs. The majority of properties have a garden/outdoor space, and some even supply outdoor toys and play equipment. Please ask on booking and we can advise.
Where is the nearest Supermarket?
There are 6 supermarkets in Stirling: Morrisons, Tesco, Sainsburys, Waitrose, Aldi and Lidl.
Iceland and Marks and Spencer are both within walking distance of properties in Kings Park. There is a small Spar in Menstrie for Redcarr Lodge, and both Dollar and Bridge of Allan have a Co-op for properties nearby.
Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose will deliver straight to your holiday home door. All you need is the postcode and you can place an order up to 3 weeks in advance.
Where are the nearest pubs and restaurants?
For those staying in Stirling city centre or Bridge of Allan properties there is an abundance of eateries on your doorstep all within walking distance. If you are staying in Dollar, Blairlogie or Balfron, you will also find a few pubs/restaurants close by; more info is available on each individual property page.
