The Space
Banrigh House is full of character, from its high ceilings and elegant cornicing to the unique artefacts and treasures collected from the owners’ travels around the world.

There are three comfortable bedrooms, including a king-size bedroom, a double bedroom with wonderful views towards the Wallace Monument, and a fun bunk room that children will love.

The spacious lounge provides plenty of room to relax together after a day of sightseeing. Curl up with a book, share stories around the dining table or simply enjoy some downtime in this wonderfully atmospheric home.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for your stay, whether you’re making breakfast before a busy day exploring or preparing a relaxed family dinner.

The upstairs bathroom is a lovely place to unwind, with a freestanding bath and separate shower. There is also a convenient WC on the ground floor.

Rent The Paddock and spread out in 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms (one of which is ensuite) and a Cloakroom WC, with comfortable sleeping space for a total of 8 guests.


The Paddock has 241 sq. metres (2,594 sq. ft.) of internal space, plus large front and rear gardens. The decked area at the back of the house overlooks the rear garden and offers a real feeling of privacy.



Restaurants, shopping, family entertainment, and nature trails are all either within walking distance or just a short drive from this ideally located property. The famous Gleneagles Hotel and Golf courses are about a 10-minute walk. 

Not to mention the property’s excellent location near everything you’d want to do in Perthshire and Stirlingshire.



The beds in bedrooms 2 and 3 are zip and link beds. Please advise on booking if you require 2 x single or 1 x super king bed in each room. 

Linens are included on all beds and towels are also supplied.



Amenities include free Wi-Fi, Smart TV and a fully equipped kitchen.

 Guests receive a ‘starter pack’ of dishwashing detergent, cleaning fluid, dishcloths, a few bin liners, a pint of milk, tea, coffee, sugar and a packet of biscuits. Guests are expected to replenish these if they run out during their stay.

The kitchen is fully equipped and stocked, with all of the appliances and amenities you’d find at home, including a Tassimo coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier and plenty of room for your self-catering holiday groceries. The seating area in the kitchen with 2 comfy sofas is a great space for you to relax and chat with other members of your group while cooking. And don’t forget the outdoor dining furniture on the decked patio!


The large dining room with ample seating and dining space for 8 people is perfect for your group feasts and family board game nights.

First Floor


The first floor is where you will find all 4 bedrooms:



The master suite with a plush king bed, dressing area, fitted mirror wardrobes and a large ensuite bathroom with a large mains shower cubicle.



Bedrooms 2 and 3 have the flexibility of zip and link beds which can be configured as either 2 x single beds or 1 x super king size bed. Both rooms have built in wardrobes with ample storage space.



The final bedroom on this floor is kitted out with beautiful hardwood furniture and a king-size bed. These three bedrooms share a full-sized bathroom with a bath and separate mains shower. All bedrooms are fitted with roller blinds.

Location information
The Paddock sits in a superb setting close to the heart of Auchterarder and is only a five-minute walk from Auchterarder Golf Club and the world-famous Gleneagles Hotel. Gleneagles Hotel offers a wealth of facilities including three championship courses, The Kings, The Queens and the PGA Centenary, which was the course venue for the 2014 Ryder Cup and 2019 Solheim Cup. The leisure facilities are available to members and include a swimming pool, gym, spa, tennis and squash courts, together with an equestrian centre and shooting school. In addition, there are several bars, grills and restaurants including ‘Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles’ which is a multi-award-winning restaurant with two Michelin stars (advanced booking is advised).


Auchterarder provides good day-to-day services including a supermarket, two butchers, a bakery, a post office, an ironmonger, a library, a health centre and a wide range of specialist shops.
Nearby Gleneagles railway station provides daily services north and south, including a sleeper service to London, while Dunblane train station provides services to both Edinburgh and Glasgow. Perth lies some 15 miles to the east and offers a theatre, concert hall, cinema, restaurants and railway station. The cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow can be reached in about an hour’s journey by car, and provide international airports, railway stations and extensive city amenities.



Auchterarder is also well served by private taxi and chauffeur services.
